Situation:

Heavily armed militants have taken over a random hill in Marsing for whatever reason, and have been laying waste to the town. The National Guard, alongside SWAT and other LEO agencies, have been called in to handle the situation but have only succeeded in fighting to a stalemate out in the boonies. Now, however, the National Guard and LEOs are mounting a major offensive to clear out the militia after receiving word they’ve got their hands on a jerry-rigged WMD made from copious amounts of moonshine, stolen copper and aluminum raided from a defunct bar, and Cobalt-60 taken from a collection of nearby hospitals. There may be multiple bombs on-site.

Unfortunately, both sides have disturbed the rest of a local resident, a rather irritable old garden gnome known only by the name of Roshi. Unconfirmed reports state the moonshine the militia stole to build their half-a$$ed bomb came from the gnome’s cellar. To make matters worse, SWAT, thinking the scraggy geezer was a squatter, attempted to confine the garden gnome in the Owyhee County jail, accidentally setting his grassy knoll on fire in the process. The Guard and LEOs then found their vehicles bombarded with grenades or pickaxed to pieces, stranding them on the AO.

Mission:

Blue and Yellow Teams will team up to assault a fortified position. They must clear out the hill of all defenders before the bomb goes off, and/or disable to bomb. Repeat as necessary. If/when one hill is taken, that hill will be utilized for blue/yellow respawns.

Rules:

Attackers will have a significant numbers advantage (minimum, 3:1 advantage, if not more), therefore, LMGs, MMGs, DMRs, SRs, and drum mags will be prohibited for attackers. If wanting to utilize one of the above, you must pre-register as a defender NLT 8:00 p.m. Thursday night, 09/26. Slots WILL be limited.

Blue/Yellow: Attackers

-Instant, unlimited respawns.

-Objective: kill militiamen and/or disable the bomb (hold for 5 minutes).

-No medics, no bleedout, no engineer.

-Cannot use MGs, DMRs, SRs, or drum/box magazines exceeding 600 rounds.

Defenders:

-Instant respawns, limited to 2 per life, BUT they can be revived by an assigned medic ONCE per life.

-One to two medics will be assigned pending turnout.

-Are not required to use MGs, DMRs, SRs, but it is recommended. Anyone can preregister as defender, but those utilizing the above platforms take precedence.

Gnome:

-Can respawn anywhere on the field after a 3-minute bleedout but MUST be outside of other player’s view to spawn.

-Grenade restriction is lifted for the garden gnome, but will be limited to one grenade throw per minute.

Alternate game-mode, “Capture the Angry Garden Gnome,” may be utilized pending player turnout. Marsing is a big field, and this game will see moving spawns up and around hard terrain, and the staging is quite a hike from the main field. Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate, and make sure to pack whatever you think you may need onto the field. Please remember to pick up all trash and personal belongings before returning to the staging area. Thank you.
